Innis Residence Council

IRC Logo

The Innis Residence Council is group of students at the residence that meet regularly and work to advocate for, and foster community between, all students of the residence in an upstanding and transparent manner. The council exists for the purpose of realizing the needs, goals, and initiatives of the registered students of the residence. As such, the aim is to help students feel that Innis Residence is a place that they can call home.

If interested, there are a number of ways that students can get involved, starting from applying for associate or representative positions in the Fall or simply participating in regular events and meetings. For more information, you can find the council at: or on Instagram and Facebook as “innis ire” and “Innis Residence Council” respectively.

IRC President:

Hi! My name is Ella and I’m the President of the Innis Residence Council! In September, I will be a third year student double majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. As part of the council, I hope to help incoming students transition into residence life at the university. Innis College prides itself in a strong community of students and staff that is tight-knit, both the council and myself work to help residents and visitors feel welcome to be a part of this community. Feel free to come up to say hi if you ever see me around or to send a quick message!
